What we accept
Deepnom is curated, not open-everything. Domains that fit best:
- Brandable .com — any length where the name reads as a real brand, not keyword stuffing.
- Premium ccTLDs — .ai, .io, .co, .app, .dev with end-user fit.
- Short codes — 1-5 character .com / .net / .org.
- Aged domains — 10+ years old with clean SEO history.
- Category-defining names — dictionary words in commercial verticals.
- Geographic ccTLDs — .de, .fr, .ca, .uk for local-market brands.
What we don't list: trademark-infringing names, domains under active dispute, or names whose only value is a registered company's identity. We screen on submission to keep the marketplace usable for serious buyers.
How selling works

Once you accept an offer, the buyer pays into escrow.com. You initiate the transfer (push or EPP code). The buyer confirms receipt; escrow releases funds. Standard payout windows are 24-72h.
Fees
Three things to know:
- Listing is free. No monthly subscription, no per-listing charge, no fee to receive offers or counter-offers.
- Commission only on successful sales. Percentage taken from the buyer’s payment before the net hits your bank. The exact rate is shown on every offer breakdown — no surprises.
- Escrow.com fee is separate. Scales down with transaction size (typically 0.89% above $5K, ~3.25% below). Always visible before checkout.
Brokered representation through the Elite Broker Network has its own commission, set by the broker (typically 10-15%) and disclosed before you accept. Marketplace placement is merit-based via the AI-Appraised tier badge — it's never sold.
What to expect
- Time to first offer: typically 1-30 days, depending on category, pricing mode, and SEO description quality.
- Premium .com names: commonly sell in 30-180 days at retail asking. Make-offer listings without a published price take longer.
- Auctions: close on a fixed date — anti-snipe extension protects you from last-second outsider bids.
- Once accepted: escrow + transfer typically complete in 48 hours (push transfer) to 7-10 days (inter-registrar).
