Transfer lock
A 60-day registrar-level lock that follows any change of registrant or recent transfer. Domains under transfer lock can't move to another registrar.
Why it matters in marketplace transactions
A buyer purchasing a recently-transferred domain may find they can’t move it to their preferred registrar for 60 days. Marketplaces typically warn about this on the listing.
Opt-out
The selling party can opt-out of the COR transfer lock at the time of sale, but both parties must agree.
