A winning bidder who fails to complete payment. Most marketplaces issue strikes for repeat offenders and eventually ban bidding privileges.
The cost
NPB is a hidden tax on auctions — sellers expect to close, build the proceeds into their plans, and lose time chasing replacements when the win evaporates.
