Domain appraisal
An estimate of a domain's market value based on length, TLD, comparable sales, brandability, and search demand. Useful as a starting point — not a transaction floor.
What goes into one
Length, TLD strength, semantic clarity, comparable sales (NameBio data), and brand fit are the main inputs. Hits + offer history on the listing itself are secondary signals.
Use it as guidance, not gospel
Appraisals are statistical estimates. A seller asking why their .com appraised at $500 sold for $50,000 is usually missing the buyer-fit signal — a domain’s value to ONE specific end-user can dwarf the market median.
